چکیده
This paper aims to apply Negative Imaginary (NI) systems theory non-square LTI systems, for example, flexible structure with redundant sensors and actuators. The proposes static pre- post-compensation schemes transform stable fat (i.e. no. of inputs more than the outputs) tall outputs inputs) plants into class Strongly Strict (SSNI) a subset Strictly (SNI) systems. proposed compensators can also stabilise or non-NI square plant in positive feedback loop. Moreover, be utilised design simple constant reference tracking scheme exploiting integral controllability propoerty SSNI Subsequently, observer-based post-compensators are developed handle cases when some system states not available direct measurement. Then, compensation extended stable, polytopic uncertainty. Finally, technique is applied tall/square uncertain preceded by slope-restricted nonlinearity.

Negative imaginary systems theory and applications
This presentation will cover recent developments in the theory of negative imaginary systems. The theory of negative imaginary systems arose out of a desire to provide a unified framework for the control of lightly damped structures with collocated force actuators and position sensors. The key result is a stability result which can be used design controllers guaranteed to yield robust closed lo...
متن کاملOn non-proper negative imaginary systems
This paper studies non-proper negative imaginary systems. First, the concept of negative imaginary transfer functions thatmayhavepoles at the origin and infinity is introduced. Then, a generalized lemma is presented to provide a sufficient condition to characterize the non-proper negative imaginary properties of systems. The generalized lemma is given in terms of complex variable s in the quart...
متن کاملa new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot
abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

In this paper we introduce the notion of a discrete-time negative imaginary system and we investigate its relations with discrete-time positive real system theory. In the framework presented here, discrete-time negative imaginary systems are defined in terms of a sign condition that must be satisfied in a domain of analyticity of the transfer function, in analogy with the case of discrete-time ...
متن کاملFixed-structure Sparse Control of Interconnected Systems with Polytopic Uncertainty
This paper deals with the problem of sparseH∞ dynamic output-feedback control of LTI interconnected systems with polytopic uncertainty. The main objective is to find a controller structure with minimum information exchange between subsystems and local controllers such that stability condition as well as an H∞ performance criterion are satisfied. To this end, an optimization problem is defined w...
